The Knicks' first game of the 2025-26 NBA season is Wednesday, October 22, 2025, against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. This home opener will be a significant matchup, as the Cavaliers are projected to be a top team in the Eastern Conference.

Liberty GM says he's not limiting his coaching search to those with WNBA experience, including NBA coaches.

Its set up for this team to at least make the Finals this year, best chance since 94' w/o MJ...

You definitely would have had the resources to get this done but you had to blow your load last summer and trade half the state of New York for Mikal Bridges for some reason.

Shams with the expert clickbait maneuver.

Leads with the most egregious headline of all time, and then in the article reveals that the Bucks were never serious in wanting to trade Giannis anyway, and the Knicks wouldn't nearly have enough to do it anyway.

I don't root for any NBA teams but I was kinda hoping the Spurs would have landed the #1 overall pick so that we could see highlights of Flagg and Wemby playing together.

There are some kinks to work out but I thought some of what Mike Brown showed was really interesting. I like that he's not afraid to run multiple big players.

The meta becomes the meta for a reason, but sometimes when you counteract it in spurts, you catch teams off guard.

What I enjoyed about last night's game was getting to see EVERYONE play. I think Hart is really going to benefit from the uptempo pace.

Yes, and the deeper rotation will lend itself to more pace. I don't necessarily like more pace if you don't have the horses, but I think they do. They're very athletic and they shoot from three very well. They're gonna get open looks on the break.

I loved seeing Kolek. Having a backup PG that can give your ball-handler rest is such an integral part of a bench.

Having a deeper rotation all year will really help out the starters to be fresher come playoff time. Its something I wish Tommy Boy did
