Just happened to listen to the Locked on Wizards podcase yesterday where they discussed the pros/cons of Winger if anyone wants a listen:

I’m not sure that trading SGA was a point in his favor. I get that he wanted to “win now” but it did backfire.

Pros: He was a skilled and classically trained musician who was adept at many instruments and iirc played in Alice Cooper's band.
Cons: His solo songs were mostly cock rock radio friendly garbage and a little bit pedo

lol….

In other news Michael Block shot an opening 81 yesterday……back to reality.

Boston isn’t coming back….bank it.

DK was offering a "Block to make the cut" profit boost and I said no f***ing way and went the other direction.

Pretty clear he was playing out of his mind and riding a lot of momentum that would just be impossible to follow up. You spend all that time preparing for that one tournament, and then have to do it again the next week on a different course you've never seen but is familiar to tour pros looking to go low from the start?

Scraping it around for par at a major is a great accomplishment but these regular events bring out the savages who will live up to their +5 hcp.

That, and he spent all week going on every news show promoting himself and not preparing for the tournament

Well…..Boston has this going for them……the other 3 teams who fought back from 0-3, all lost game 7 on the road.

Boston may just do it at home……what a finish to that game.

Hilarious…..Padraig Harrington a stroke behind the leader at the Sr PGA, hits a wayward drive in the crowd, bounces it off the head of a Sr citizen, helping the drive in the process…..as they’re about to cart the guy off with an ice pack on his head, Padraig does the standard autographs the glove, then asks the guy if he’s he with his wife, and he says she’s at the clubhouse (maybe a member?)…..pulls out his wallet, counts out what looked like 3 $100 bills….and pays the guy….….funny stuff.

Steve Stricker was getting pissed on the other side of the fairway at how long the whole thing was taking! I didn't know Steve had the capability of getting pissed.

Instant karma for breaking the finger of an opponent's mother? The golf gods are watching.

Seriously though, I've never heard of anyone stepping on a tee and having it go through their shoe and foot. Only way I can conceive of that is with very soft soled spikeless shoes and maybe walking down the front of a tee box where a tee might be suspended in the rough at just the right angle so your heavy footfall sends it perpendicular to your forefoot.

That is crazy….

The running out of beer on Saturday was bush league BS. And they would have run out way sooner if they had properly staffed their concession areas. It was still pro golf in the DC area and I had a good time but the organization was pretty darn poor.
