I mean, if he’s going to do it in any setting, that’s the judgement, right? Not just that we captured on media? It is who he is.
My generation (I’m 53yr) of friends — within 10-15 yrs of me — certainly makes comments around this type of “humour”. So to see it in full focus and in front of the world was a little crazy. For sure. Ignorant even, maybe.
But I know that I’ve been around that male bravado for years and years. And I’ve participated in it. Now I have my 2 girls who I will do my best to make them never feel inferior to anyone. ANYONE.
I never felt malice when I was part of those types of comments, in thinking about it, however that’s not the point.
