I’m dubious that they will sell soon. Read an article in the Baltimore Banner app, that spelled out the reasons why they won’t sell now.@Ridley Simon more hope for orioles…
But noooooooo……the good version of their team had to show against Chelsea on Wednesday……ten Hag has to be for the chop after today
Not really but I get your point.Oakland’s payroll many times over for one guy…
If you are getting anywhere in the realm of what Rahm got and don’t love playing on the PGA Tour then go get your money.PGA seems on verge of collapse due to its own arrogance…

But I don’t think there is a tipping point where people suddenly start caring about LIV, watch it on TV, and attend their events in meaningful numbers. They had more than enough big names last season and nobody gave a shit.
The PGA Tour cannot compete financially with the PIF. LIV doesn’t need anyone to watch on TV or attend their events. Their business model has nothing to do with making money or even trying to come remotely close to breaking even. Everyone has a price and the Saudis will find it over time.
The initial ask by ted was a bigger project this:“The facility in Virginia would be geared toward the two professional teams, not a multitude of events, the person said.” So no concerts?Key Virginia lawmakers back arena deal for NBA's Wizards, NHL's Capitals
The proposal would move the teams - owned by Ted Leonsis - from Washington to a new arena at Alexandria's Potomac Yard.richmond.com
Then they scaled it down to:A Northern Virginia legislator, who asked not to be identified, said the proposed project would include an arena seating more than 20,000 for sports and entertainment, plus a separate venue for concerts and conventions, with a pedestrian plaza between them. It would also include an underground parking garage that could accommodate 2,500 vehicles. It would house offices for Monumental Sports & Entertainment and its regional sports television network.
For months, progress on a deal became stagnant, the source said. Then, Monumental presented a scaled-back proposal in which it would build a facility for the Wizards and the Capitals in Virginia but leave the Mystics and other entertainment entities in Washington. This month, the Capital One Arena will host Madonna and the holiday band Trans-Siberian Orchestra in between sporting events.
what a joke MLB is
unless the world ends….it’s a pretty safe bet.Why would Ohtani do that? That’s a lot of money to “assume” you’ll get paid down the line. I wouldn’t do that, ever.
I like it….PGA Tour needs a little leverage to negotiate with….
Meh. Add in the time value of money, and it’s a stupid decision, IMO.unless the world ends….it’s a pretty safe bet.
