Burnes and Stroman would be tremendous.
 
Watched a bit of the Zards game while in a bar. They were up a little on the 76ers midway/late into the 3rd (while playing no real defense), and then Philly decided it was time to be just a tad assertive, and the Wizards handed them control of the game. It’s as if they were surprised and satisfied with holding a lead into the 3rd against a pretty good team. IOW, They have absolutely no clue how to win. It’s endemic to the organization. Hope the hockey team doesn’t catch it.

Watched the first Quarter a bit but had to get to some other things. Checked the score and another loss so just passed on watching the slog. This team is historically bad at defense. Additionally the NBA draft class looks increasingly terribad.


Right now, I wouldn’t take any player in this class in the top four of the 2022 draft or the top five of the 2023 draft, and I still would not classify any with a Tier One or Tier Two grade. Because of that, the order these players will be selected remains extremely up in the air. It’s not an exaggeration to say any player (outside of one) ranked in the top nine of this board could end up going No. 1.

Wizards did a long needed rebuild and tanked this year. Surprised how bad Poole has been.

Also, Nats continuing to cheapen out re: FA's. There should be a cap floor and if you don't want to spend you should be penalized. People complain about the need for a cap but I would argue if you're not spending a certain threshold you shouldn't own a MLB team
 
The game within the game is watching Poole get mocked in sports talk/news for so many bone headed plays….like walking the dog when the clock was running because he didn’t understand the rules.

Who can say about the long term, but for the short term it's just terrible for pro golf. And I say that as someone whose two favourite non-Tiger players are on LIV, so I've certainly given it a chance.

Gotta wonder how much additional pressure this puts on Jay to get that deal done... only about 3 weeks left until that Dec. 31 deadline...

That’s life changing even for a guy like him. He can play in all the majors and have his cake too.

It's pretty much just Rory and Tiger leading the "Ph#ck Phil" club now.

The fact that this is being finalized right before the meeting between the two sides is clear indication the Saudis still believe they can leverage the deal with sheer volumes of cash. This is a head on a pike outside the camp as you walk in, letting you know the consequences if you don't accept their terms.

The product is lacking today, but it will change and improve I’d wager.

PGA Tour is bent over a barrel right now.

Work the deal out and fire Monahan.
 
It's going to be a challenge to make me care about whether Team Smash defeats the RangeGoats, but the Saudis have demonstrated time and again that their money can make almost anything happen, so why should I assume I'm immune.
