Did Trotz come here to just bask in the past and be semi-retired?
Its just a win. Main thing I have taken out of this game is the Dmen seem to be playing a more patient safe game. I haven't seen them flying down low every single play like we have so maybe we have finally seen some form of an adjustment. The win (if they hold on) will be against a team on the second night of a back to back and playing with 5 defenders. While it would be a win, should it be considered a quality win or a fortunate win?

Won't really know until the next game I guess.Optical illusion?
Same thing we did last season. Rely on the retirement home and hope that works. Screw player development.Svechkov with just barely over 7 minutes, Evangelista didn't even get that. ZLH with less than 10. What are we doing here?
ZLH probably a few more years but the other 3 should be going to the Afanaseyev playbook and make their RFA negotiations a pain in the ass.At what point do Tomasino, Parssinen Evangelista and L’Heureux’s agents start requesting trades?
Evangelista, Parssinen and Tomasino contracts all end this year. I guess we’ll see how that all plays out. Wouldn’t surprise me if none of them are on the roster next year.ZLH probably a few more years but the other 3 should be going to the Afanaseyev playbook and make their RFA negotiations a pain in the ass.
Definitely if I'm Tomasino there is no way in heck I'm signing another deal with Nashville. Pretty much tell my agent if he can't get me out of here I'm finding another agent.Evangelista, Parssinen and Tomasino contracts all end this year. I guess we’ll see how that all plays out. All RFAs .... Tomasino and Pärssinen arbitration eligible. Barring a trade they are in the org.Evangelista, Parssinen and Tomasino contracts all end this year. I guess we’ll see how that all plays out. Wouldn’t surprise me if none of them are on the roster next year.
Preds Pravda putting out bovine excrement.
Are you referring to Bruno’s quote after the game? I was puzzled by it too. I want to see him more but I can’t play him in a tight game.WTH does that even mean? Why bring him up if the coach is too panicked to play anyone new?
2nd line center Svech lasted four shifts in the first period. Bruno then played him for another six shifts across the final two periods ... 5 ES, 1 PP. If Bruno wanted to see more of Svech, there were plenty of opportunities for it to happen.WTH does that even mean? Why bring him up if the coach is too panicked to play anyone new?
Yes, his Orwellian doublespeak comments. "I like him. He's not ready. He did really great. But I want to see him more. But our team is in big trouble so we have to keep running the same group out there the same way." Then one looks at the hard data, and Svech played 2C when the game was 0-0 then got demoted to 3LW. Then he and the other "young guys" barely played when we got the lead or it was 1-1.Are you referring to Bruno’s quote after the game? I was puzzled by it too. At some point, the kids have to learn how to play in tight games.
