The win (if they hold on) will be against a team on the second night of a back to back and playing with 5 defenders. While it would be a win, should it be considered a quality win or a fortunate win?
Its just a win. Main thing I have taken out of this game is the Dmen seem to be playing a more patient safe game. I haven't seen them flying down low every single play like we have so maybe we have finally seen some form of an adjustment.

Just thought about that loophole of icing with an empty net. The team that iced it gets the opportunity to bring in their most tired player as the goalie swap out..

Evangelista, Parssinen and Tomasino contracts all end this year. I guess we’ll see how that all plays out. Wouldn’t surprise me if none of them are on the roster next year.
Definitely if I'm Tomasino there is no way in heck I'm signing another deal with Nashville. Pretty much tell my agent if he can't get me out of here I'm finding another agent.

So over a quarter of the way through the season, we are 7 points back of the wildcard with 0 games in hand (im considering the fact that Vancouver is likely to get a point in their next 2 games).

We won a game against Winnipeg but it was on the back end of a back to back for them and it was against their less than good backup. We also sacrificed the ice time of ever young player.

 WTH does that even mean? Why bring him up if the coach is too panicked to play anyone new?
2nd line center Svech lasted four shifts in the first period. Bruno then played him for another six shifts across the final two periods ... 5 ES, 1 PP. If Bruno wanted to see more of Svech, there were plenty of opportunities for it to happen.

Are you referring to Bruno’s quote after the game? I was puzzled by it too. I want to see him more but I can’t play him in a tight game.

At some point, the kids have to learn how to play in tight games.
Yes, his Orwellian doublespeak comments. "I like him. He's not ready. He did really great. But I want to see him more. But our team is in big trouble so we have to keep running the same group out there the same way." Then one looks at the hard data, and Svech played 2C when the game was 0-0 then got demoted to 3LW. Then he and the other "young guys" barely played when we got the lead or it was 1-1.

Like 101 said, it makes no sense.
