Carter gaborik and doughty formed a triangle around jokinen but no one wanted to take him. Lack of focus. THAT lack of effort is what pisses me off. I don't care what else happened in this game that play is completely unacceptable and will lose you a playoff series. Bounces etc will happen and it is what it is but if I were sutter I would bench every one of those guys for the rest of the game.

I'm over the flat first periods. Thought we'd turned the corner on that, but nope... back to dreadful. Games can't be won in the 3rd period every time.

Can't say that about Quick. 2 goals out of three were pure luck.

As for Jones, it is getting a little bit preoccupying... this makes his last two performances really dreadful. Is it because he is not seeing enough action? Then should be send back to the AHL but I guess that means that he would have to go through waivers first?

Right now, the most concerning thing about this team is our save percentage. 6 goals on 21 shots is abysmal, and it has been abysmal for something like a month now.
