When's Perrault back?

I don't think he has skated yet. Who knows what his injury even is. Pretty sure it is shoulder, and if he still isn't skating could be a seperated shoulder, although i didn't see him in a sling or anything in the press box so maybe not that severe. Him and Enstrom back would be huge for round 2. And obviously Ehlers.

We must have diet Nik Lidstrom on our hands then because when I joined these boards Enstrom was was regarded as Lidstrom lite.

But Enström is beyond useless in the playoffs. Always has, always will. If he’s even playing at all :)

Are you guys seriously debating if Ehlers was a healthy scratch? He’s either sick or has a slight injury, he probably just has the flu.

My vote is for diarrhea. Healthy scratch is least likely (IMO). Concussion symptoms would have caused a bigger ruccus. Something like that would also answer why Mo is making jokes.

It was something like that. Something mundane but unavoidable.

So last year it was Scheißele with the runs, and now it is Ehlers. Still... diarrhea is plausible, healthy scratch is not.

Personally I don't buy Ehlers being a healthy scratch. Also don't buy the concussion theory. My best guess is the injury from the slash still has some swelling with a lot of associated pain. Fly likely pushing to get in and Mo holding him back due to where the series stood. I have little doubt Mo was very confident in the team in how the handled game 4 that they had more than enough horses to be cautious with Ehlers.

Does anyone anyone have concrete sources on Ehlers being healthy scratched or is it all speculation based of the post game interview? Curious to hear why you would think that would happen. It would basically mean he dropped significantly in the team hierarchy over night...

It's pure speculation based on PoMo saying he had a gerenal malaise after getting tired of reporters continuously asking him about injured players.

Mountains out of molehills my friend.

my good insider friend told me ehlers had 711 wings and wedges night before game day to celebrate 420 early and might have bought some expired ranch to dip them in and wasnt feeling 100% coke slurpee helped rehydrate him and is now fine

Yea Jets....Thank you, oh ya about time.
PMo doesn't healthy scratch deserving Jets...although there hasn't been many recently.
Trouba didn't look dazed and confused last night.
Everybody looked good....Kudos to all.
Can we get past the learning "what it takes to win in the playoffs" stage.

Agreed. I just re-listened to the post game presser by Mo and in no way does it suggest Ehlers was a healthy scratch. He answers the question pretty straight up that he would be in , in a tighter series. But the more specific question to the actual injury got a typical Mo flippant and a semi funny media response. Nothing to see here IMO.

Great White North eh...
Why the hell do you guys need these broadcasters to give you Jets fans a back rub? I don’t need them to be “rah rah” for the Jets. I just need them to be insightful on both teams.

Lol, this really misrepresents my post. I did say " a slight edge to homerism". No back rubs required. I agree about the need for them to be insightful. I don't think either of them were.

I guess. I mean as a neutral fan watching other games I kind of appreciate a neutral call. I'm not a big fan of Romanuk's call in general - and Galley might add the least of any color guy in the business. I guess the time Susan Sarandon was between the benches for the Rangers was worse than Galley, but that's a pretty low bar to hurdle.

I agree for the most part. But like I said, this is a home broadcast aimed at a largely pro Jets audience. I expect a somewhat homer slant when I watch broadcasts from other markets and I actually enjoy that. Gives me a local perspective.

Anyway, it's all good. The good guys won and I couldn't be happier.

The feed was used as the national US broadcast, so calling it down the middle is the correct call.

Considering they both work for a Canadian network and the telecast was aimed at a primarily Manitoban audience, I would prefer a slight edge toward homerism.
There's no need to pander to a Minnesota audience.
I didn't mind them last night, but the previous 4 games you could tell they were not Jets fans.
