I wanna be the boshy - has anybody played it? I saw someone stream it the other day on Twitch and it looked tough as ****. I could never play a game like that.

Isn't that the side scrolling, shooter rage game? It's meant to be unfair. Hate those games.

I haven't played Boshy specifically, but there's a whole sub-genre now of unusually difficult games like that, and I have played the classic "I Wanna Be the Guy" which the game's wikia says Boshy is a fan game of.

IWBTG and Boshy are both free so you could give it a go.

Boshy seems to be much more fair than IWBTG. Where Guy has the incredibly difficult gameplay it also has the element of surprise to try to catch you off guard. Boshy doesn't seem to be cheap like that for the most part.

And IWBTG is the game I was thinking of. That game is almost like Cat Mario in the way that it's made to be unfair. Boshy is ridiculously hard, but the game doesn't change the rules whenever it pleases. IWBTG is made to do that to you.

I was watching HSErA who uses to play Hearthstone and Boshy simultaniously on stream. He hit high legend rank in HS but still hasn't beaten Boshy yet IIRC.

Boshy seems like a technically better game than IWBTG, but all must pay tribute to "The Wanna Be the Guy".
