My entire problem with the Kings right now.

Kopitar/Carter....WTH are you two guys doing on the road ?

Jamie McBain came into this game with more fire , more passion , more poise, than you two....

I am speechless.

This team is loosing games because of Kopitar/Carter en-ability to elevate their games on the road.

Kopitar did have the primary assist on Gaborik's goal with a great pass to him coming down for the shot.

Well, at least my wife is going to be more than happy that I won't be staying up late for a fourth year in a row come this April, May and June.

I,m still under shock. The little flame of optimism I had before this game has completely vanished. The only suspens now is how low in the standings will this team sink. Chances are the Coyotes will finish before us comme the last game of the season.

The other suspens is who will be traded comme the trade deadline. Williams is like most of the players this year, underachieving, but any team that is contender come the trade-in will see a playoff player in him and we should get a good return.

And please, yes Muezzin was bad tonite, but this is a team loss. Or, put differently, this team didn't win against a team they should of more than anything else this season.

I'm surprised at how mentally weak the team has become. The team used to pride itself on winning the 1-0 or 2-1 game, now they're giving it up. Muzzin is gonna get his nuts roasted by Sutter after that ****.

And his partner...that last goal was all on Doughty where he went for the puck instead of the man.

They just look fatigued. 3 seasons of 100+ games fatigued. They have a giant hole on D. They have non-existent desire on O to get into high scoring areas. Coasting. Going through the motions.

Lots of games left, but they've got to find 3 other gears from the overdrive coasting they're mired in at present. I just don't see any signs of it happening.

Honestly Kopitar should kill teams like Florida, absolutely Kill teams like that.

They should not be able to handle top two Centers that are Kopitar/Carter.

I want to say again just how telling it is that this team's play has forced _RON_, of all people, to give up on them. This time, getting a coach fired isn't enough. I don't know what the specific answer is, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with personnel, not coaching.

Guy's. Kopitar doesn't have to re-sign on July 1st. In fact with the season he and the team are having and the Loonie in the toilet his agent is probably going to tell him not to sign this summer and just roll the dice that both Anze and the Canadian dollar recover before July 2016 when he hits UFA.

And once again, here is where loyalty gets you. How can you be loyal the summer before and spend like a drunken sailor on bringing back third pairing defenders and fourth line centers but are now suddenly going to play hard ball with Kopitar. I'm not so much against playing hardball and being tough, but that should have started last summer. You can't compound the problem by potentially losing Kopitar as an UFA because if Kopi leaves just shut off the lights because the party is over.

That's what's killing me. I never expected them to repeat this year. I would be more than happy with a 1st or 2nd round exit. But this? This **** on the ice?!? **** that nonsense.

I said the same thing to my brother. You're the defending champs two of the last 3 years and you cant find a way to put an effort to make the playoffs? The mistakes they're making are the stuff we saw in year 1 under Lombardi, not the team that had one of the best team defenses in the league!

I don't think they are a distraction, but I'm sure the players envisioned at the start of the year as the show coming off as a locker room fun fest while in the middle of a 20-3-3 run!!!

It's pretty deep. Hanifin, Werenski, Kylington, all strong candidates for our D upgrade.
