My bad for not adding an extra qualifier.

If, from a comparative perspective, I had to name a modern day great singer doing rock, heavy rock and metal, then my choice would be Dino Jelusick:

Check out how he kills Child in time, in this short excerpt:

What's really weird is Dino is part of Whitesnake but he's the keyboard player. What an incredibly talented vocalist , bassist and keyboard player.

His singing on Jane is just amazing. He should be fronting a band and hopefully sooner rather than later.

This is a neat way to carry a guitar around, when you don't want it to look like one. The guy's a pretty good picker too, check i out. And it's stayed in tune .

Not to nitpick, but you're still carrying something, should have been able to convert it into a backpack.

Saw this from a few pages back, maybe you missed it,killer version! I've experienced some rather impressive organ work, but this is way over the top!Very versatile band.

Stunning vocals however, the improvised and shoddy rendition of Blackmore’s solo was a complete turnoff for me and had to stop the track at the point when I saw the guy was just putzing around.

If you’re a lead guitarist and you’re playing a classic song with such a talented vocalist and you don’t put in the work, then it taints the overall performance.

I’ve seen other bands not put in the time it takes to learn iconic solo by just trying to wing it and it always sounds subpar.

I wonder how the singer discovered he could sing that high? That's inhuman for a man's voice.

Found this old tune.

If I’m not mistaken, that cover was their first hit. The other cover they got mileage on was Hey Joe, which several emerging acts of their era played.

What an amazing vocal performance and ruined by that godawful guitar playing.

This song along with Great Gig in the Sky are two of the greatest vocal performances in rock history. Unfortunately I wish I don't know how to imbed a video.

Nothing high in hush, could be you.lol.

Of all the Purple ''hits'' that one perplexes me as why so many like it.

The perfect rock anthem and that outro always leaves me breathless as does watching Angus live.
Good on ya! Enjoy what you enjoy when you can regardless of what what some of the overly opinionated simpleminded stunted dweebs think about ones likes or dislikes pertaining to choice, not like you'd be having them at your party anyways.lol.

This is old now but still good interviews.

When the entire audience is conservative white folk without any sense of rhythm snapping and clapping to their own beat.....what are the odds the music is good.....?
