Has anyone else noted that YouTube has somehow circumvented AdBlockerPlus?

Much to my dismay this evening ads are there frequently (as they always were without ABP) and I am displeased. With ABP in place I've spent years accumulating videos from YouTube that I listen to regularly (I know, videos does not equal listen, but you get what I'm saying). Now? Experience = unpleasant.

Solutions? I have not atm. Suggestions welcome.

They basically make you pay if you don't want ads . Everything costs money today.

Ghost is great. They give the impression of a metal band but kind of play more of a mix of classic and modern rock.
