Nuno! love watching Perry's wife dancing in the middle
Really like this new Extreme tune, going to be hard not to drive fast to this when i pull the car out.
I have a ton of his stuff on Spotify - really enjoy Lightfoot.Gordon Lightfoot, Gord Downie, and Leonard Cohen.
All Canadian poets with unique voices that you instantly recognize. Sad to see them all gone, but glad they were all here.
Gordon Lightfoot for me was an AM radio staple in the car, my parent's music more than anything.
RIP Gordon.

+++++++++++++
In the "for something completely different" segment.
My youngest kid is a huge Megadeth fan (and I must admit its a guilty pleasure of mine - at least Mustaine's first four albums) and so we went to see them last night.
The warm up was ok (BFMV) but Megadeth was great with the encore of Holy Wars and opening with Hangar 18.
His current line up of muscians is amazing - the emulation of Freidman's original solo in Tornado of Souls was virtually perfect.

A native of Orillia, Ont., Lightfoot topped music charts with classic songs including "If You Could Read My Mind" and "Sundown" and his career spanned decades.globalnews.ca
Absolute legend indeed. My goodness the stories he could have told, and clearly he did tell parts of those stories in his music. It could be a movie......and I'm sure it will be.

I have posted this track a couple of years ago...
I have posted a number of their tunes since then over the years...
There is no demand from me... it's astounding to me knowing this bands start...
And knowing their metamorphosis to what I have seen to today...
Think of your life...
You were young... you had a spark... you were no flame... but you had promise...
You believed you were rich with promise... you weren't wrong... and maybe you progressed...
And you never accepted less of yourself... you kept learning... you transcended your ego... your so called status... to perfection...
These guys have matured... and now... worth all the millions they made...
Because life isn't over... if you have a choice... expressing yourself better than you have done before...
Better than others are willing to accept... at no price... no cost... because you believe that... it's priceless...
You are a Seperator...
It's weird how we get here...
I have great friends... I have great family...
But fate has gifted me fate...
I purchased two tickets to this band...
July 12th beginning... 8 pm at the Burt' ...
I need someone to join Me... because fate has dealt Me fate...
I want a true love of Rock and Roll to show...
All expenses paid within the Winnipeg region...
I will pick you up... buy you supper if it fits...
Experience love of Rock & Roll...
And drive you back...
Apply here within' ... and don't feel slighted if you so called lose...
I will note... I will redeem... those that have the Courage to apply I will note... and invite those who lost who may fit other Bands I have reverence... and it is broad... the stated contract will be same re: my humbly accepted state... my reward for sincerity...
Story Of My Life... (band you are applying for today Ps.. and for others we can share)...
