Jason Donovan (A Mats Sundin look-a-like) was an Australian Soap actor on "Neighbors" (along with Kylie Minogue) before he cut this single in 1989. He earlier (1988) did a duet with Kylie Minogue called, "Especially For You". This song hit #1 on some charts in 1989.



From 1990 is the single "I Promised Myself" from Nick Kamen. This is off his 3rd album. He had success in the charts in Europe throughout his career with Madonna singing background on a few of his songs. Madonna also wrote and produced his 1986 song, "Each Time You Break My Heart" Nick Kamen passed away in 2021 after a struggle with bone marrow cancer.



From 1981 is the road song "Sausalito Summer Nights" from the Netherlands band Diesel. The song reached #1 in Canada, but only # 25 in the U.S. Top 40 charts. It's got an underappreciated guitar riff.

Was in Australia in 88/89, Neighbors was absolutely huge. :thumbu:
