One of my dad's favorites passes away from Covid . RIP Charlie.

A favorite of My Father in law...

Another big hit for him... can't see his lady in the care home... can't go to the Legion where his buds are... and Covid locking him down, can't go anywhere...

Charlie's death just another kick in the ass...

Hang in there Mr. B. ... :thumbu:

And this was sort of right at the start of my FM phase: this album was my summer of 1979. They remain one of my favorite Canadian bands of all time. This whole album is just stunning.

My fave Triumph tune.

Nice! Rik Emmett is a Canadian treasure imho

As for “Lay it on the Line”, Jeff Marek on 31 Thoughts has infected my brain. A few episodes ago he said you could substitute the chorus for “Lyle Odelein.” Now that’s all I hear.

I remember singing this song as a little Dude around the house and getting all the words wrong.

RIP Mr. Pride. Such a powerful voice. He was one of my Mother’s favourites as well, especially this one:

All the best to your Father-in-Law @John Agar . Hopefully he can pull through this time and be able to connect with others soon.

My daughter for My birthday last year bought Me two tickets to this mans concert...

I love when any family member, yet My daughter love's me back with action...

My lady and I went to the last concert from Rod Stewart... I have never been to any before...

My sister years ago digged on Rod' with Every Picture Tells a Story....

I enjoyed it... when they weren't around...

Every picture can tell a story...

If you see it...

Rod Stewart at his age on his last visit to Winnipeg was awesome... beyond My expectation...

Band was tight... back up singers sublime...

Rod was a bastard... in all the good ways... tight... replicating the originals...

He was further... an entertainer... lost on most in this PC world...

Took on the crowd and one individual in the crowd for what to Rod was sacrilege in what he believed...

Say no more...
