Oops, i haven't posted this for @chaos4 for a little while, sorry.

You deserve this:
Sorry i created a monster.
I'm only allowing Myself one tonight...
Better make it a good one...
Let's go Bee Gees on this one. At times ridiculed as a leader of Disco music and having their records burned as a protest against the Disco sound. DJ's refused to play their songs. I can't speak for the feeling at the time but Disco's got some good head bopping, toe tappin, fun timin, hip shaking rhythm. Barry Gibb was also a prolific songwriter, who wrote some hits for other artists.
We'll start with a live acoustic performance of the Bee Gees singing (The Lights Went Out In) Massachusetts. A song that has that feeling of you know it but you don't know it and may have you asking , "what is that song with that melody".
He wrote the Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers hit "Islands In The Stream"
A cute moment in the song at 2:20 where Dolly messes up
He also wrote the song "To Love Somebody" which has been sung by numerous artists, I'm going with the Blue Rodeo version to comply with the CRTC regulations, but check out the Nina Simone version also.
And this was sort of right at the start of my FM phase: this album was my summer of 1979. They remain one of my favorite Canadian bands of all time. This whole album is just stunning.
