It's the norm though. Ever see any Twins/Vikings/Wolves promos out of Minneapolis? I'm a big Twins fan and I've got a number of their promotional items over the years. Pepsi, Cariboo Coffee, etc. Pretty much every freebee has something associated with it. So I understand you don't like it but it's not remotely rare of unusual. Nobody has really ever complained all that much about the Scotia Bank scarves and those have huge, honking logos on them.
True, didn't think of that. I guess those are a lot more subtle than the touques.

Princess Auto = Miata.

Hey, I had one of those years ago and I ain't no princess. British Racing Green special edition. Best car I ever had. Drove the shit out of it and it never let me down, unlike most other vehicles I've owned. I had a tendency to destroy standard transmissions when I was younger.

Hey at least buying a 3 game pack gets you a nicer gift than the useless passport holder they offered season ticket holders.

Since this has become the de facto gripe thread for STH I'll lob this one out there...

So as a STH I get the opportunity to have a passport holder as my annual freebie. However if I buy a 3 game mini pack (at ~ 20% face value) I get a free Heritage Classic toque? Seems reasonable.

That's not correct. The 20% isn't off of face value. It's off of the total cost of individual seats, ie Face vlaue plus all the fees. The mini packs are around the face value price. Depending on the pack it could be a bit lower, a bit higher, or exactly at the face value of the tickets.

I think you save 30%-50% over face value if you're a STH - so the discount is deeper, but the swag is weaker...

There are a lot of things STH can rightfully gripe about; is wanting a toque more than a passport holder one of them?

I don't have a passport. I have all my hair. TV* is all I'm paying for. Thank you STHs for paying the freight. God knows TNSE is not going to pay one thin dime.

Edit: * I was supposed to give up TV but Shaw gave me $45 dolllars off the internet and TV and I didn't even ask for it.

Another game, another screen shot entry. I legitimately tried to load the app but wouldn't work. Half hour earlier I loaded the app and screen shotted the codes, clicked 'stay logged in'; got to arena and it was logged out, wouldn't load (thanks Bell). Used screen shots, no issue, no checking.

Apple wallet works great. I load my entire season in at the beginning of the year. Then nothing to worry about!

Fail to plan, plan to fail. :shakehead
You shouldn't have to plan to walk into a venue. It should be easy to access. After all True North was bragging about this being easier for customers. I notice the crowd has shifted to a much older crowd the last three years. Many of the older people still have a hard time with tech stuff as they never grew up with it.

I notice way too many (usually age 40+) people struggling to load their tickets when they’re at the front of the line to scan in.

Fake Luddites.
Us real old people still use paper tickets. No problem. No lineups. No holding up all of the people lined up to use e-tickets. :)

True I didn't grow up with it - but have worked with high tech for 50 years or so.
