So many tough decisions to make in the near future!! Starting with who to scratch when Matheson and Slaf comes back next game, nobody really deserve it after tonight. Hopefully Hugo and Gorton wont make the same mistake as past regime and follow the plan, trade veteran players when theyre at their highest value, keep building for when the window will really be open.

I'll plead ignorance on my knowledge of who is Rd and ld, but I think kovacevic is currently the weakest link on defense.

Nowhere land
TVA have a completely different show after the game. RDS is very good and the analyse the game intellectually, or technicly. TVA is more emotion. They make me feel emotivly what this game is about and how that team has changed since the new regime and Martin St-Louis. Both are good and I could appresciate both approches. I think I like more the RDS but a change once in a while is good.

Ok lets calm down a bit
Yes this is very refreshing
Future looks great
Core is starting to shape before our eyes
We may have more assets coming in at TDL and at draft
oh f*** it, this is awesome, my favorite habs ever, who needs to sleep? pop another beer 🍻🍻

Seriously though, I am aware that we could start struggling any minute. The season is still young. But I think even if that happens. We have all seen the potential in the youth we have. It's nice to see we can actually score goals. And battle back in games.

Kid was a monster at the WJC prior his wrist got injured, it looks like the Hawks given up on him way too quicky. Ironically, the guy they drafted with the 1st (Nazar) will miss the entire season with an injury. Hawks are in really really bad shape, they are headed for years of mediocrity.
Yeah wasn't he wearing the C that time? Unfortunately he got hurt.

We might have to start talking about Calder nomination for Guhle at some point.

Best rookie dman in the league so far this season. Also, 7pts, only 3 behind the most points from any rookie ( Maccelli )

Another Cole goal. Slick Nick is sick. Dach has done wonders ever since being bumped up. Money Hands Monahan doing work on the PP. Big Josh Anderson coming out hot and Mike Hoffman has the most jump I've seen from him in a Habs uni.

Kova had another rough night on the point and I would probably look to sit him when Matheson comes back. So did Harris, especially with a terrible decision on the Pens 4th goal. Guhle and Xhekaj continue to be so impressive for their respective ages. David Savard is a whole new player to last year, and Eddy is finding his step.

Jake wasn't good. Hopefully that's not a trend but tonight he just didn't have it.

Bottom line, Habs hockey is fun to watch. I look forward to game nights and I'm completely invested in this team once again.

Harris might have been the weakest link tonight, but he's been so solid since the start of the season, so yeah i think they should sit Kovacevic when Matheson's comeback and probably put Wideman on waiver

December will be tough. There's 11 road games. A Pacific Division trip (Calg, Edm, Vanc & Seattle). Then a Central Division trip (Arizona, Colorado & Dallas), then finally our annual post-Christmas southeast Division trip (TB, Fla, Nashville & Washington). ALL on the road.

Our 4 measly home games are against (TB, Calg, LAK & ANA. )

There's also a trip to Ottawa in there.

That's a tough schedule. Basically, we'll know more January 4th, 2023.
If we're still playing well and are in a playoff spot in January, I'm cheering all in to make the playoffs
