Well done. Some Leafs fans think this is garbage to them but it don't work for us as well. For the reasons you stated.

We are certainly not going to trade Hoffman with 50% for 2 more years after this year.

Chiarot, last playoffs, played better D than I’ve seen any leaf defender play in the post season for the past 5-6 years, or whatever. I don’t know if that means they should pay as much as in the OP, but it is what it is.

Why Chariot at 50%?....if you want him juste pay the price ( a 1st rounder) and let’s get on with it. Or else some other team will pay it by march 21st
