Drouin is underappreciated. He's another Radulov basically (weaker but faster), possession-driving beast.

What do the lines look like for next season (assuming somehow Galchenyuk and Plekanec stay)?

Patches - Danault - Radulov
Drouin - Galchenyuk - Shaw
Lekhonen - Plekanec - Gallagher ?

I have been very very hard on Bergevin. I'm still disappointed about PK vs Weber, amongst other teams.

But today, I am very, very happy. GREAT deal all around.

One of Lehkonen or Drouin will play off wing. Drouin played RW in the past.

Pacioretty Galchenyuk Drouin
Lehkonen Danault Radulov
Byron ×××××× Gallagher

×××× being either Shaw or Plekanec, either one would be a pain to play against

Great contract.

Same contract for Galchenyuk could be fair. But yes, I know, Galchenyuk will be trade.

Everywhere, World.
Drouin have played at C.

Drouin-Galchenyuk-Danault is a nice center line, no?

I think it's comparable to Crosby-lite - Malkin-lite - Bergeron - lite.

The issue is Drouin is as much a Center as Galchenyuk. It's a huge gamble.

That's the downside of the deal, we traded one of our best assets to not solve a major problem.

Scoring in general needed a boost. This should help. I expect another trade though. No way we go in again with this center line

Better hope the city doesn't chew this kid up. Because if it does, this deal could end up really bad. I don't dislike it though but not sure if the coach is the right fit. If Bergy has a vision, I'd really like to know because he's very confusing.

He's also a playoff player

14 pts in 17 games in the playoffs

In his last junior year, he had 41 pts in 16 playoff games
