Half-Assed GDT: MTL @ STL

The first game against the oilers is the blues team I’m used to seeing defensively and structurally. Haven’t seen it in any other game

I'm not sure if we're at that point just yet. This is the 5th game of their slump and the Offense is starting to click again. The penalties they have committed are completely unacceptable as well. Plus the team isn't showing any animosity towards Berube that they showed against Hitch or Yeo.

The thing is, these are better players than they are playing collectively and individually right now. We've seen it. We literally saw it last Saturday. But this has been a very bad week of Blues hockey that is for sure. It's not panic time but it's definitely a test starting in this third period right here. And this veteran team knows that. A team captained by ROR doesn't have to have this pointed out to them by Berube, who is not at fault. He's not sitting better players. He is mixing up the lines. Buchnevich is back. This is on the players who are not playing the best we know they can play.

I don't always agree with you, but, I do agree with this. This isn't the first bad week of Blues hockey we've ever seen, and it won't be the last week of bad Blues hockey that we'll ever see. We have a great coach and a good captain.

I think it’s far too early to panic.

Of course I thought this was barely a playoff team as well so maybe it’s just because my expectations weren’t/aren’t as high

No they f***ing aren’t, that’s what the problem is. I get they have to pump some tires but come on. Watch the games and be honest.
