No. If they did Ylonen for Kravtsov straight up, I wouldn’t care. Both of them are worth about the same, i.e., not much. NYR fans are going to get mad though because Kravtsov is a former 1st rounder - sunken cost and all that. Ylonen is probably worth more at this point though, so on second thought, idk lol.

My favorite part is that you specifically gave up what you felt would be the later draft pick, for each round of draft picks you're giving up.
nope we have tampa bay 4th rd pick , later then the rangers .
Maybe clarify your facts before speaking

I have no idea who ylonen is but i'd probably do it. Maybe add a conditional pick if krav plays 40+ games next year. Also how do you even get russian players over with all the sanction stuff going on - they can still get visas? Kravtsov value league wide is probably a 2nd + a conditional something else anyways at this point.

I don’t think there is any possibility this is the best offer NYR would receive.

In the end it might end up that way if they go further in playoffs. But I just found it odd that you went for non Montreal picks. Including the 7th.

Is it fair to say Kravtsov's value is around where Lias Andersson's was when the Rags moved him? (2nd round pick)

(Also consider other historical prospect trades; Baertschi for a 2nd, Lazar for a 2nd, Mirco Mueller for a 2nd, DeAngelo for a 2nd, Connolly/Bennett for a two 2nd's, exc)

Ylonen, is being underrated here, I expect him to make the team out of training camp next year and have a solid year.

I think its a fair trade (minus all those random picks): Ylonen for Kravstov, both were 2018 picks (35th vs 9th). Kravstov has the pedigree but Ylonen seems to be the better team player, has been playing well in the AHL and has also performed well with his limited NHL minutes when called up.

Yloven is playing in the NHL, Kravtsov ain't.

Yloven has 4pts in 10 NHL games, Kravtsov has 4 in 20.

They are the same age, one is October 99 birthday the other is a December 99 birthday.

I get the pedigree and the offensive potential and all that but Kravtsov isn't a solution for the Habs (he won't be good enough offensively) and Yloven plays a more complete game.

One for one, id take Kravtsov. If you keep adding to that Habs should keep their asset.

Absolutely higher than Andersson’s was. Kravtsov is playing very well in the second best league in the world still.

I dont blame him for him rather going back to the KHL and play there instead of riding a bus in that dump Hartford in front of the 18 fans that show up.
