I would def trade Kravtsov or a 2nd + a small add for Lehkonen. And other NYR fans should def want him. I don't care that he's a small LW. We need more players who are difference makers in 5v5 possession, and Lehkonen very obviously is that. Plus he has excellent playoff experience.

Yes, we need one more Top 6 forward. AND we need more depth.
Habs won't trade Lehkh for a 2nd + a small add. Not when Coleman and Goodrow got a lot more.

1st, prospect equivalent to a 1st, or 2nd + top3 org prospect. Other than that we'll just keep him, extend him to a LT deal and keep him. He's young enough to be part of the core going forward

Yes you subtracted a mobile , hard nosed RD who has 7 goals and 33 points in 33 games. He is also a plus 12 . No doubt Ranger management totally shat the bed in dealing with him. If management wanted to move on from him you build up his value and then deal him. What was our return for him, "0". The only addition I guess was we got rid of Quinn and got Gallant.

Oh my, he is not a nice person according to some. I dont care. It was an issue that the coach should have handled. I bet if Gallant were here at the time, ADA would be still on the team. Also don't tell me there are some nights where you would'nt like to kick the feces our of Georgie.
Fox doesn't win the Norris if DeAngelo is still on the team eating powerplay minutes. Might benefit us where Fox is signed cheaper, but we'd also be struggling to fit DeAngelo's cap going forward while needing a 2c. The real crime is not being able to unload DeAngelo and get real value back.

Keep him then. There seems to be a big gap between 2nd + small add and what you're asking on the equivalent of 2 first, or more.

I'm a Habs fan and frankly, my expectations for Lehkonen are a 2nd + good (not great) prospect.

For example, from the Rangers it'd be:

NYR 2nd + Cuylle

Krav is gonna cost solid high 1st round unless/until he demonstrates his value otherwise, and if Drury, who effed up this situation in the first place, decides to do the right thing and about face and not be reckless and irresponsible, then he will play signif mins w/first liners when he gets here in a month + and demonstrate his top 10 talent.

Compared to Krav, AL is a nothingburger

And I was thinking people stopped using bath salts.

Where have I said 2 first?

I said a 1st, or a 2nd + top3 org prospect (like Jones for NYR sakes)

A 1st or 2 x 2nd pick in value. Otherwhise Habs will just keep em
Lehkh hasn't lost amy value sonfe being drafted, and trading him for a 2nd would mean so.

If the Rangers are talking with the Habs about Leh. My offer would be a third round , or at the most a second round pick.. After giving Suzuki almost 8 million for the next what 8-9 years , who knows what Leh would get in Montreal.[/QUOTE]

To bad your not the GM making the decisions. A 3rd rd.

Mersss I know you said "like" Jones but in his case he should not be available for trades. If Fox goes down, Jones is a puck moving dman that will be needed.
Cuylle is also a player I would not trade. He is a very good prospect and just what teams are looking for. A tough winger with skills.

I would only trade the #1 and prospects like Kratsov for a player like Hertyl.

I totally agree with you, especially not getting real value back. When it comes time to powerplay time etc. , if he was on the roster it would be a deeper team with more skill and grit.

It is a shame. Ok I will throw in a box of pucks and a slightly used Willie Huber sweater with that third rounder. Deal?

The way you typed it makes it look like the prospect equivalent to the 1st is part of the first offer, with the second offer being a 2nd and top 3 organization prospect. It's written like 2 separate offers, with the 1st and prospect equivalent of a 1st together.

Lehko + 4th pick 2022

for

Kravtsov + 2nd pick 2022
Kidding aside,
Would either team do the trade but reverse the picks?
Would Lehk and possibly the 32 OA pick be to little for one team, too much from the other team, or split on the middle as a fair deal?

My offer is:

Lekh + 94ov for Kravtsov + 58ov

Could be a little variation of OV...
