MTL : Mailloux + Mesar + CGY first 2025
for
CGY : R, Anderson

This trade only goes down if Panthers are out of the playoffs at American ThanksgivingI think CGY says no for two reasons:
1. They already have Parekh and Brzustewicz on the right side.
2. They want a blue chip back, not a couple B level prospects.
Mailloux is a blue chipI think CGY says no for two reasons:

Mailloux is better then BrzustewiczI think CGY says no for two reasons:

you don't know that ,,,, don't speculateThat first is going to be the Panthers' pick so is likely very late again.
If the Flames are selling, which would be the case of they are trading one if their best D, their pick is almost certainly top 10 which means it becomes the Florida pick.Mailloux is better then Brzustewicz

Mailloux is not a blue chip unless you have VERY low definitions for what a blue chip isMailloux is a blue chip
Mesar most definitely does not have 1st round value. No thank you, Mr Definitely wasn’t Slafy. Maybe you could find another forum to post these in, preferably on another site? The Habs pollution would drop 98%
Habs aren’t giving up a bunch of ELC’s, and a total of 3 1st rounders for Andersson. Even for you, and any other username that you may have had in the past, that’s pretty awful.
Don’t want to argue about definitions but I don’t think he is. Not to say he isn’t good. He’s just not in the same tier as other prospects around the league, or even within the Habs system. I consider Reinbacher and Hutson blue chips.Mailloux is a blue chip
No he’s not and no blue chip would ever be on the table for a guy turning 28 that will need a new (long term) contract at 30.Mailloux is not a blue chip unless you have VERY low definitions for what a blue chip is
If he's not blue chip he's extremely close. He's generally underrated on these boards.Don’t want to argue about definitions but I don’t think he is. Not to say he isn’t good. That's a weak offer from the Habs.MTL : Mailloux + Mesar + CGY first 2025

The 'CGY first' is in reality the 'FLA first', which makes this much less appealing.MTL : Mailloux + Mesar + CGY first 2025

Once again, Montreal does not have Calgary 1st round pick 2025. They might get it, but most likely the pick they get from Monahan trade will be Florida 1st round pick.
Ironic postMailloux is better then Brzustewicz

lol, Habs aren’t looking for D. They are stacked with dynamic young D prospects knocking at the door.
In a couple of years when they are competitive they may look for a R Anderson type D.
they wouldn't - and this isn't a deal they're making. If anything, they're looking for more firepower up front and probably trying to dump either Evans or Dvorak if Kaponen keeps playing like he did last nightIf they are stacked with dynamic young D prospects why would they be looking for a R Andersson type D in a couple years?
If only there was a way for a person who is a confirmed troll, to the point of needing to change their name, could be stopped from intentionally flaming and making look bad a certain fanbase. No thank you, Mr Definitely wasn’t Slafy. So the best rookie rman in the AHL last season is not a bluechip prospect.... Interesting!I think CGY says no for two reasons:
1. They already have Parekh and Brzustewicz on the right side.
2. They want a blue chip back, not a couple B level prospects.
