Dude, I'm writing this as a favour. You need to get off your high horse here. Your arrogance on the subject shines through quite a bit, you might wanna tone it down. When you get nearly everyone in this thread - and other threads - disagreeing with you, you might wanna realize that the issue lies with your attitude. Not everyone else.Obviously its my opinion, its usually what lists are. I dont do these to please the consensus gang, I do these so I can say I told you so in five years.

And I'm saying this without even dissecting your list. I may not agree with a lot of it, but I respect that you have an opinion and posted the list and are willing to back it up... Just when you're doing it with such arrogance, no wonder people are saying stuff and trying to cut you down.
Poehling had a strong year, but Frost had a stronger one. This decision screams Montreal bias. Secondly, Kyrou shouldn't be above Frost. They had similar years, except Frost is an entire year younger and was a much better even strength player. But you can believe whatever you want lmao
Id say thats harsh on Poehling. Hes 19 right now and putting up a similar PPG to Laczynski... thats kind of ridiculous TBH. Laczynski is a lot more comparable to Jake Evans, whos, conveniently about 10th in the Habs prospect pool.Tanner Laczynski seems to have a similar profile to Poehling and he's maybe ~10th ranked prospect in the Flyers system. Another 5-10 players rounding out 7-16 who have around the same value as prospects.
I'm fine with the Flyers prospects getting underrated because there's so much depth. There are 25-30 players to look over and it's easy for outsiders to miss the breakouts.

Poehling has absolutely no question on footspeed though. Theres a difference between being ppg at 20 than doing it at 18/19 as the 1C of one of the best team in the league... Evans is exactly 1 year older than Laczynski and has similar NCAA seasons, those are your comparables, not Poehling...Laczynski scored well in the USHL and NCAA at 18 and 19. He just turned 21 last month, so he's an older 18 and 19 in those seasons then Poehling in his past two. Above or around a point per game, plus smarts, hardworking, some question of foot speed. They seem similar to me?
Laczynski Fr yr .94 ppg So yr 1.15ppg Poehling Fr yr .37 ppg So yr 1.15 ppg Now Laczynski is 1.5 years older so just compare his sophmore yr to Poehling freshman yr and Laczynski still has him beat and he ranked 10 on Flyers prospect poll . This just goes to show how deep the Flyers prospect poll is and that's why it is on or near the top ranked prospect group in the league . People trying to do rankings of prospects other than there own team is really quite pointless cause they don't watch any of them other than their own . Fun but pointlessId say thats harsh on Poehling. Hes 19 right now and putting up a similar PPG to Laczynski... thats kind of ridiculous TBH. Thats your opinion, that people dont watch. Laczynski isnt as good as Poehling, thats pretty much why hes not ranked.Laczynski Fr yr .94 ppg So yr 1.15ppg Poehling Fr yr .37 ppg So yr 1.15 ppg Now Laczynski is 1.5 years older so just compare his sophmore yr to Poehling freshman yr and Laczynski still has him beat and he ranked 10 on Flyers prospect poll . Also trying to compare NCAA per team isnt as simple as just checking stats straight up.
The NCHC is a little stronger than BIG 10 so that does make up alittle difference . I happened to watch Poehling live twice in St Cloud last yr but did not get to see Laczynski last yr but did the yr before . They are very similar in overall abilities Poehling being faster Laczynski being more cerebral . Maybe a better comparison age wise as they are only a yr apart in draft and play in the same conference would be Poehling vs Allison but he ranked 5th in Flyers pole .Thats your opinion, that people dont watch. Ah, so you're just out here stroking your own ego then. And yet you wonder why people are accusing you of having bias... Oh well, carry on.Lets talk about my list instead of my posting behaviors, gracias.
Hmmm. That’s a tough one. Donnez moi un moment. What team is OP a fan of?
I dont do these to please the consensus gang, I do these so I can say I told you so in five years.
That would be closer, I agree. Still think Poehling is better but I can agree to the comparison, but thats more on Allisson being good than Poehling being bad or what ever. The NCHC is a little stronger than BIG 10 so that does make up alittle difference . First timenI actually do a proper list, but my prospect opinions are well known on this board and Im very vocal about them.Do you have a link to previous years you've done these lists?

Sorry to disappointQuote reads like past tense and having multiple lists.
I.E. "these"
Yamamoto would be close to the 50th spot, in an ideal world, I probably shouldve went for a top 100 instead of 50, but oh well.Boqvist way too high.
No Yamamoto? Bouchard at 44 after putting up the best draft eligible season offensively for a D man in 9 years seems strange.
Good effort overall, disagree with a bunch but appreciate the time these things take.
I feel Necas and Mittelstadt had years that were just as good as Pettersson and are closer to NHL ready, with less question about their games.
I had Boqvist 3rd in this draft, hard not for him to be high. He fell because of a lack of exposure.
Let me just sneak Poehling Juulsen and Mete right into the top 40 here... How can a list this biased be taken seriously?
