Well if you’re not talking the one he kept a secret in Oldman or the one no one would j ie unless told (his daughter) then you’re now getting into lots and lots of roles that I’m unsure if I’d even call it a cameo

There was Casey Affleck but he shows up again so unsure if thag constitutes a cameo, the quaid kid from the Boys is in a few scenes, josh peck is in it, one of the safdie bro’s…but they all play roles that are beyond cameos
This cameo wasn’t from someone I’d consider an actor and I’m not sure if he’s done any acting work before this. It’s a pretty small part but he has some lines.

I watched a Man Called Otto on a flight last week, thought it was actually kinda charming. Nothing that's going to be terribly memorable in the long run, but Tom Hanks can pull off just about anything.

On the way back home Saturday night, there weren't any new movies that appealed to me and I scrolled through the options and wound up watching both of the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton Batman movies back to back, I'd never actually seen them before. Really liked the first one. The second one had good cinematography but the first one was better for me. I'm not sure how I feel about Keaton as Batman, he didn't seem to have a lot of presence, particularly in the first one, but that movie was all Jack Nicholson, he stole the show. And in the second one Walken and Pfeiffer both pop out and Danny Devito has to carry more of the acting burden. I'd say at least as far as Batman goes, Michael Keaton is kind of like the vanilla ice cream in a sundae in that by itself it's not terribly spectacular but the toppings and fudge sauce can't work without it. But he's very good at that role, like a Haagen-Dazs Vanilla ice cream.

And every time I watch a movie that's from earlier than like 1992 that I'd neglected to ever watch, there's at least one part where I stop and go "ohhhh that's what that Simpsons scene is referencing"

Oh my, that's excellent stuff!

I liked Keaton's Batman. I remember when the first one came out, I was a senior in high school. :wally:

I preferred the movie Taken.

Also the movie theater was out of M&Ms when I went to see it. I'm not big into conspiracies but it got me thinking.

Well that's not great.

Oppenheimer was an absolutely fantastic movie

10/10

Any criticisms of that movie fall into the “looking for issues” category at that point

Gonna see Barbie soon probably this weekend and I’d like to see MI7 but the wife isn’t a Cruise fan so I’ll have to figure out when the other adults in my life are free

Adults?
