Yeah they would. Maatta is slow as **** and has missed significant time since being drafted. Every year he's played he's gotten worse. Colorado would have to be really stupid (Chia, Bergy level) to consider moving their top line winger for Maatta+ unless the plus is significant.

If Hall only returns a #3 young defenseman you honestly think Eberle and a 1st returns a better one? I would have traded Hamilton for Hall easily. I wouldn't trade Hamilton for Eberle and a 1st.

Eberle may no hold value to anyone else but his value to the Oilers increased big time with Hall being moved.
