I was thinking about this late last night after the game. The talent is incredible on that team. They have absolutely no leadership...where are the crafty vets that they need for mentoring and leadership?
That's why we gave that contract to Greene. My understanding is that he is incredible "in the room." We complain sometimes about the glue guys like Greene, Stoll, Brown, and even Regehr, but these guys are so important for leadership and mentoring that it clearly shows the difference between, say a team that has won two Cups and a team that most certainly should at least be sniffing the playoffs.
