shut it down for the season, sell the sellables, and hopefully we're in top 10 so we can draft.
get well soon, Mo.

The amount of teams that are able to shrug off the loss of TWO top 4 D men easiky is essentially zero. I dlmt.know why some people are acting like this is something the team could have prepped for.

They literally just called up a bluechip prospect to fill the hole - if thats not depth, what is?
Arguably the best 19 year old on the planet

Rielly has been pretty bad this year. So hopefully the foot heals nice and quick, but he also can heal any lingering issues.

If there is any truth to the Dillon from SJS or Martinez from LAK rumors, we might find out soon how true they are.
Where did you hear these rumours?

No way. We aren’t dead yet. Does Boston shut it down when they go through a slew of injuries to top guys? Do the Pens? No.

It’s grim now for sure. But we have to keep pushing forward. We’ve got three games between now and the All-Star game. Muzzin is close and when he returns we can banish Marincin again and hope that Muzzin, Dermott and Sandin can hold the fort until Reilly’s return.

Andersen won’t stink forever. We can still make the playoffs and compete if the timetable for Reilly’s return is accurate. Just gotta weather the storm until then.

I think we'll be fine, honestly. The big boys just need to step up even more and carry us. That's what they are paid to do. Who knows? Maybe a young guy on D will step up and play better than Rielly has this season. We don't know. Leafs will make the playoffs in the top 3 of the division.

Wow. Giving up in January.

Y’all have some emotional baggage in this fan base, don’t be you?

Bad few games but this team has a lot of potential under Keefe. They will inject some youth and the team we eek out some wins...then boom, Muzzin will be back.

We're kinda bipolar. We're just used to things f***ing up for us somehow.

Very bad news on Rielly. Been a bad year in terms of injuries overall but the team will power through. I'm curious to know if this foot injury is what he was playing through, or if it's an additional injury like a groin injury that he was playing through and then got the broken foot against Panthers.

Either way, they'll now take care of everything for him. 8 weeks is a long time. He'll pretty much come back with a couple weeks left in season. But it'll take him some games and then he should be the good ol' Rielly again.

Feel better soon Mo! He's a big piece of the team and will be sorely missed. Have a speedy recovery.
