Greig's arm is almost parallel to his shoulder. If anything, Rielly's stick runs up to his next, off Greig's shoulder patch.

Primary contact is his neck then face.

You really trying to defend this right now? The video is quite clear.

Well, he likely hits him a little further down, but due to the speed and the camera angle that's the best reference point. But if we're talking point of contact, it did at least glance off the shoulder, which means he probably misjudged it and hit him higher than he intended.

There wasn't an injury on the Zadorov play and he missed a significant chunk of the game with the misconduct. If he gets 2 then Rielly really should be getting 4 or 5.

Maybe Morgan doing this is perhaps the right direction.

Maybe the Leafs need to get even more dirty, all the time, like their nemesis the Bruins.

Just get so dirty that DPoS starts giving it a pass.

I'm not even joking here. We need a new coach btw. You already know that. F'Bomb speaches aren't going to cut it.
 
Saw it live - part of me said, "you got that coming to you," the other part said "yeah, finish the game with flair."

In the end, after watching all the replays, Reilly gets a multiple game suspension. Brutal and uncalled for, pure emotions getting the best of you.
 
Interesting seeing almost all former NHL players sympathizing with Morgan on Twitter.

I wonder if Riley does that again?
 
He's gonna sit for a few games, and rightfully so. The shot in the net was classless but the shot to the head was garbage.

If you don't like losing, play better hockey. Can't believe how many games the Leafs constantly drop to these bottom feeding chumps.

Funny seeing the Leafs fans defend this play.

Rubbing off shoulders. Ottawa is so many points back. Wont sniff playoffs. Blah blah blah.

That was dirty f'ing play, period. If that hit was on Matthews, the boards servers would be acting like the trade deadline day here. Luckily for them, Matthews never showboats like that :laugh:

What do you think of Morgan Reilly? Do you think he is a Matt Cooke type player?

Go from there. He's not going to pretend/for real try to slice Karlssons achilles.

We'll see what happens. I'd love predictions on the suspension and what Leafs haters think is appropriate here.

It’s not in their DNA. Pushback at the appropriate time is the best that we can hope for.

Who is going to get dirty? Reaves? Certainly not any of the core 4 guys, they are too much of pu**ies to do anything.
