Doesn't that speak volumes about the quality of most teams in the AHL.

Also that five of seven make playoffs in Central.

But it's a developmental league for a reason.

These are great, thanks @ICdave.

Feels like this this is the Brad Lambert teams hoped they'd be drafting before they thought twice after that meh season / WJC.

He's playing some terrific hockey, and seems committed. Glad the Jets took a chance on him and expecting him to be an impact player once he makes the jump and gets acclimated.

Delia just looks awful this season. That freebie on the 4th goal is pretty bad

My guess is they saw him as a steady vet, a guy who could step in and be reasonably reliable while giving the prospects some breathing room.

Instead, he's been pants, as some here predicted. More opportunity for Milic I guess.

Looking at Delia previous stats isn’t that impressive either . How did he get NHL games?
Only thing I remember of Delia was last years incident when JT Miller wacking his stick and yelling at Delia to get off the ice when he was in nets for the Canucks

As a Hawks fan I remember he seemed to be a promising UFA college signing. Probably some of that hype plus really good showing at training camps helped his case.

If you ignore the numbers he looks really good. He's very Pavelecian in that he makes wildly athletic saves, but he's usually the reason he has to make those saves in the first place.

Only watched the highlights (by that I mean I skimmed through it), but Moose were down 3-0 about 30 seconds into the 3rd period, then scored 3 goals in 2 minutes to tie it with about 15 minutes left. Lots of chances but no goals in the rest of regulation. OT was all Grand Rapids with several bad giveaways by the Moose. Lost in the shootout, Chibrikov and Heinola score but Grand Rapids wins in the 10th round. Hutchinson had a really nice poke check to stop Lambert who had him dead to rights. Cheeky celebration for Chibrikov on his shootout goal. Apparently Grand Rapids had 9500+ fans there and every Moose had boos raining down on them through every attempt. It was great.

Nice move from Chibrikov and patience from Ville there also. Now they gotta get 11 shootout rounds deep.

Moose continue to run Jets prospect Thomas Milic in net as he goes back-to-back against Griffins tnt after last night’s 10 round SO loss. This will be his fifth game of the seven games the Moose have played on the road (before and after AHL All-Star break).
