A hockey game was played between the Moose and Senators. Not a particularly notable one:







(he played 3rd and was fine).



Moose lose 2-1 late, fall to 12-17-0 as they lose their fourth straight game. They head out on the road for three.

Any news on Lucius' return timeline? Moose have been a slog to watch these last couple of games. Need to get some of these guys back from injury. As frustrating as it is for the fans, it must be even more frustrating for Chaz to have all these injury issues... esp considering they all seem to be random unrelated injuries.

I doubt we ever see Lucius in a Jets uniform. His contract will expire and the Jets wont qualify him due to missing so many games. He will catch on with a couple of teams taking a chance and get into some games but mostly bounce around.

It was a known risk drafting him that high.

Talented but made of glass.

I think he's likely dealt in a deal for a piece we need. While talented he's expendable with Lambert, and McGroarty in the system and ahead of him on the depth chart.

No way do they let him walk for nothing.

Absolutely agree you qualify him. However, constant unrelated injuries is the definition of injury prone, no? Like Kirby Dach.

You got guys like Kessel who seem to have bone and ligaments made of titanium, youre bound to have humans who are at the other end of the spectrum when it comes to injuries.

Bauer gets a Belleville player with a thigh on thigh and the Belleville player looked hurt. Seen Bauer and Imama chatting a few times so there might be a rematch in the cards for the two of them.

Lundmark knocks down a puck into a Belleville players face, gets called for high sticking, Belleville scores. Moose haven't had a power play yet.

3-0. The decision making of the Moose defense is just atrocious. No real exceptions.

It's legitimately insane how often Lundmark and Capobianco just hand the puck over in front of their own net. Heinola back in at least so hopefully he can add a little composure on the back end.

Chibrikov just dropped Arber Xhekaj.

Two giveaways for Capobianco directly in front of his own net 13 minutes into the game. One ill timed change that led to an odd man rush. One bad pinch that resulted in an odd man rush.

Heinola with a give and go for a break in, then threads a perfect cross zone pass to send Malott in alone but he can't beat the goalie.

Lundmark gives away the puck directly in front of his net, team scrambles for a bit, Lundmark ices it, him and Capobianco get scored on after the Moose lose the face-off and go back into scramble mode. 2-0.

IDK about insane, but it is certainly surprising. Capo was not bad defensively in the NHL last year. Lundmark is supposed to be a good D, no O reliable Dman. Both out of character so what gives?

Not that out of character, bad giveaways is why Lundmark was scratched during the playoffs last season. Poor play in his own zone is why Capobianco has never been an NHL regular. Capobianco might be sacrificing some defense for offense because he sees himself as the only defenseman that can create offense on the team, but he's an absolute mess in his own zone.

Thanks for these detailed updates. Impossible to find Moose noos over here beyond @ICdave and I gave up on the AHL package last year.

Good to see Heinola making up some lost time early.

Capo can put up points but can be brutal defensively, tho seems like he hasn't had much help this season. Salmon's arrival in the A will seem like manna to those lads.

Insane to say this but Bauer has been the best Moose D (not counting Heinola) atleast in my viewings. I never notice him whereas I tend to notice most of the other Moose D in a bad way.

The Moose really look like the Jets from 2019/2020 era. Once Laval starts cycling the Moose are not getting stops defensively to reduce d-zone time and offensively it is mostly one and done stuff.

To bad to see that. I liked Capo in most of his games last year. And I hoped Lundmark had some potential as a purely defensive Dman.
