The real question is how fast will the Bedard slander start around here? Hell go from the next Mcdavid to the new Patrik Stefan in a matter of weeks when the Habs start going 4 5 games with Ls.

Btw you can do yhe same thing for the offense or goaltending.

Are we really so bad at offense and goaltending too?

For goalies - I dunno curious to see Allen go back to being #1 for first time in a few years. I think he could do better than expected. Granted not necessarily with that defense. But bottom 3 in league? Maybe, but I could see him quite a bit higher.

Offense....no idea. We do have some decent pieces like Suzuki and Caufield...and a lot of forwards with career low years who could rebound (ex Gallagher). Im not saying our forward core is good, but is it definitely bottom 3?

Yes its that bad.

Cc and Nick are elite, the rest willbe lucky to score 15.

15 months ago, they went to cup finals with Chiarot, Weber, Edmundson, Petry, Gustafsson, Merrill, Kulak, Romanov. All eight are gone. Wow.
