Take the first rounders and Kulak and Hartman out of the Wild deal, add a 2nd round pick to Montreal, and then I'd do it.

Wilson has to be a top of many listed for most untouchable guys from HIS team in the league. Not saying he's that talented but players of his type are that rare. he's not moving.

I think Domi played himself out the conversation for a top 3 defender, unfortunately. I think he get’s more of a Trocheck style return if he’s moved.

I disagree. 8th worst for GA, LD sucked.

I agree your 9th won't go for Domi. I'm hoping for Brodin, maybe MTL adds pieces...

Domi isn't a c, he just isn't. His Value isn't even close to close to value of Brodin.

My Inference : the fact our GM didn't Trade Brodin or Dumba for Trocheck should tell Montreal fans there's 0 percent chance of Brodin for Domi.

Brodin is wild only LD after Suter. At best Suter has 2 years, maybe 3 years left then Brodin takes over for him

Take out Domi and add a top 6 center and we can talk about Brodin.

I'm hoping for Suzuki, maybe MIN adds pieces...

The offer for MN is fair, but MN has no need for Kulak, and I don't want to be paying big $$ to Domi. He didn't look very effective to me in the playoffs, and his regular season was mediocre. I'd prefer to keep the #9.

I sure hope that MN doesn't trade Brodin for Domi. I think that MN fans would be bitterly disappointed with what he brings to the table.

Suzuki, OTOH? Come on down!

Cmon don't be ridiculous, you know as much as i do Montreal isn't trading any of their young Center, unless an other good young Center comes the other way. It's the most valuable position and the team have struggled getting great C's for the past 2 decades.

It may not happen, but the value our GM sees in Brodin, or Dumba has been made clear.

He also knows reality that teams don't typically trade 1c but ; but at the same time said isn't willing to trade Brodin or Dumba for less worth than he thinks of them. Our GM was smart, & was able to get the values of Brodin or Dumba from other teams GM'S

Not sure what Mete makes but the Isles will probably not be looking to bring any cap back in a Leddy deal. Would rather just have the picks.

Yeah your GM wouldn't even get Suzuki's full name out of his mouth before MB hung up. Everyone knows how long the Habs have been waiting for a legit 1C and Suzuki is our best chance so trading him makes no sense if your GM wants a 1C for Brodin or Dumba it most likely wont happen there are very few teams with two 1C's on there team and there are still teams looking for a legit 1C you either have to draft them or you wait for that rare chance there is a very unhappy 1C(Eichel comes to mind no I am not saying hes being traded or asking for one) asking for a trade.

The 2 moves that at least make me go hmm is
1)Montreal needs a sniper Hoffman makes a lot of sense.
2) Leddy for cap reasons smart and well thought out Mete and picks.

Now to add this salary either Tatar or Drouin may have to go.
