I completely forgot about today's game.

So who does Shipp look like? Does he play like a 10 or a 8?

He plays like a 10 and I thought he looked better than Piatti ever did at CAM. Displayed great vision and top notch passing ability. But it's one game.

Shipp is a better version of Felipe. Better visions, better speed, better passing. Felipe might just have a better shot but that's it.

Yeah, Shipp is EXACTLY what this team needed. If Donadel plays this well during the season, I think we are going to have an exceptional season.

Plus we'll have some super subs in Porter, Salazar, Oduro, Mallace, Bernier, Camara, Venegas.

I'm pumped as hell.

I think they'll bring Ontivero slowly. I don't think he'll be a starter right away. Probably Oduro will start the season on the right wing.

We have some serious depth at every position. On the wing alone we have Oduro, Ontivero, Piatti, Romero, Salazar, Venegas.

Btw I'm liking Romario Williams in this pre-season, he's not a bad player at all, he's in fact superior to AJH. What will hurt him is the fact that he takes an intl spot, otherwise I would've kept him over AJH.

I agree with everything you just said.

Even if you like Romario, it'll be hard for him to get minutes we have as Forwards if we exclude Drogba and Oduro : Salazar, AJH, Romario, Porter. That is a lot. As they are all very young and within 10 games of Experience, they all will need minutes. You can't rotate 4 young players. The depth chart might look like something like this :
1. Drogba
2. Oduro
3. Porter
4. Salazar
5. Romario
6. AJH

I know that move will piss off a lot of local fans but AJH gotta go. There is no way he'll get minutes with Impact. This is a no-brainer. He could work with Edmonton.

Donadel really looks like his old prime Calcio self. If he plays at half that level this year, we have ourselves one hell of a midfielder.

Now back to my Chievo save on FM :D

I don't expect Bernier to be a starter personally

After being screwed for 2 years straight, I think Biello is expecting for Bernier to come out of the gate full throttle, and make a more long-term decision based on how his captain's season is going. Depending how Bernier is doing will determine if the Impact go all out on finding a box-to-box in the summer transfer window.
