MSL saying he doesn't coach much the one with the puck. He coaches the other four players. Because the one with the puck is the present. The ones without it are the future, meaning they are the one who have to get open to receive the puck.

It's not rocket science, the challenge is really getting everyone in the same page.

At 5.5M per year , yeah I would be on the ice giving everything I got to help my team even if that mean getting crush by bigger players. Have you ever seen Desharnais afraid to go on traffic to get the puck? I don't.

Drouin belong in the AHL. He doesn't have what it take to be in the NHL.
Well if you catch a cold you won't have the opportunity to be that brave, the coaches will tell you to stay home.

You just want to bully the little guy with your friends.

Heineman, Xhekaj, Kidney and Simoneau are the only kids I can think of that didn't play last game that I'd suspect we absolutely will see.
Totally disgraceful to not have Kidney in the lineup for tonight's game!

Why not trade him to another team if they don't want to give him this opportunity to play?

These players need playing time and challenges....

I'm guessing he plays tomorrow, but really thought we'd see him tonight.

What awful linemates for Slafkovsky. How can he do anything with Pitlick, who is not really a centre, and Mr. Lazy?
True but what could be behind Pitlick being used at C? Maybe just confirming who can do what in the event of a trade or injury?

Regardless, now’s the time to try stuff.

Mind you, regular season games risk being just as meaningless. :sarcasm:

Bully? Not really no, I want players that gives everything on the ice every night for the money I pay to watch the game.

I might be the only one here but I prefer having Pezzetta or Pitlick on my lineup instead of Drouin.

I guess that make me a bully....

He prolly tested positive for covid, and to avoid the crazies with 16 day quarantine, they just list it as the flu.
Well, that, or his kid got gasto-enteritis like just about every damn kid this week.

Knowing what we know about his family life, giving all he got possibly involves losing his shit. Litterally.

Making fun of mental issues is always off limit to me, but that's mostly unrelated to this thread.

Here it's somehow transforming being sick into a negative personality trait or cowardice.

Like the great Jayz said "You know the type: loud as a motorbike but wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight."

So much toughness, from behind a keyboard.

I don't see Drouin as having mentel issuses I see him for what he is , a chicken shit hockey player collecting a fat pay cheq , team would be successful with players like that , play the kids and sit him out often

Tell us more about how you have what it takes to be in the NHL over actual NHL players...

He has the flu, settle down. You think the team is going to let him play with the rest of the players while sick after the last 3 season have been majorly disrupted by illness? For a pre-season game in September? Embarrassing.

Yeah I'm a tough guy because I'm saying what everybody can see on the ice and the way he play the game. I get it alot of people on this board are still defending that Sergachev/Drouin trade and can't admit that this is probably MTL worst trade since Ryan McDonagh.

Drouin is not an NHL player anymore, sorry to break your bubble. 15 goals TOTAL in his last 3 NHL seasons for 16.5M(avg) belong in the AHL.

Keep going buddy, I'm glad poster like you are still defending him and still believe in him. It's cute.
