Yep, I saw that line and thought "I wouldn't be mad at seeing that as a 3rd line this season". Won't happen for a while, most likely.

With Eddy out, these two pairs are in direct competition to be the bottom pair to start the season. Interesting that MSL is icing them tonight. Will be interesting to compare which pair does better.

Not too many regular NHLers in that lineup, but it'll be fun to see the kids again.

So tru. I usually ignore the pre-season games which are full of AHL bums nobody care about, but this year, man it is crazy fun to see all these names in a line-up.

A rebuild is actually quite fun, we should do that once every decade or so! ;p

At 5.5M per year , yeah I would be on the ice giving everything I got to help my team even if that mean getting crush by bigger players. Have you ever seen Desharnais afraid to go on traffic to get the puck? I don't.

Drouin belong in the AHL. He doesn't have what it take to be in the NHL.

I think it’s a better match than Dach. Dach and Slaf do a lot of the same stuff. Rush the puck, deking, passing a lot. None of Slaf’s passes to Dach ended in a shot on goal. Armia will shoot.

Edit: if Slaf wants to play with Dach, he’ll need to learn to play a finisher role. Don’t pass back to Dach, always get the puck on net.
