Owen Beck, drafted this summer is having a really good camp right now. A two-way center who’s very good on faceoffs.

Filip Mesar, drafted this summer too. Another Slovak player. Vert shifty, pretty good playmaker.

On defense the Xhekaj-Harris pairing are one of the best in camp.

Mesar drafted this year: Speedy high-ceiling skill guy. Has a bit of a reputation for being inconsistent, which is why he wasn't drafted higher.

Xhekaj: Undrafted but has been impressing in Junior last year and in camp this year. Heavyweight evil bastard defenseman that can actually play hockey and has offensive upside. Other teams and their fans will hate his guts if he makes the NHL. Think eviler and potentially more skilled Lyle Odelein.

Heineman: Acquired in the Toffoli trade. Has been shockingly good in camp. Can skate, has a shot, great 2-way, people are calling him a bigger Lehkonen.

Owen Beck - Drafted this year, showing signs of immense poise. Looks NHL ready at 18. Speed, shot, 2 way center.

Harris and Barron: Potential PMD. Harris looks to be ahead, but Barron has more tools imo.

Yeah I'm a tough guy because I'm saying what everybody can see on the ice and the way he play the game. I get it alot of people on this board are still defending that Sergachev/Drouin trade and can't admit that this is probably MTL worst trade since Ryan McDonagh.

Drouin is not an NHL player anymore, sorry to break your bubble. 15 goals TOTAL in his last 3 NHL seasons for 16.5M(avg) belong in the AHL.
