I'm honestly not afraid of any team except one of the Metro powerhouses like Washington and Pittsburgh.

We play really well against the Rangers and I welcome Toronto, Ottawa or Boston after that.

Same here. But I'm not so much afraid of Washington or Pittsburgh. I'm just still under the impression they can out-match us.

But the part that has me excited about those match ups now is that we have Julien who has slowly but surely put his stamp on this team. And we haven't faced either team since the coaching change.

You should be afraid of those teams. Pittsburgh seems to get alot of calls on their side, and they have a deadly PP. Washington may not get as many calls but their PP is deadly too.

When you're a team like Montreal who might only score a couple goals, those PP goals would be killers.

Expecting a loss here. I would be quite surprised if they win this one.

I'm more afraid we enter the low percentage scoring chances zone for like 3 games in a 7 games series.

Okay. You can be afraid of them for me, then.

Every time that I expect them to lose they will win. So, they will win tonight.

I cant stress this enough. The fact that we have Julien has helped immensely. The team seems more compact and solid. The PK has improved and the D zone play is significantly better under CJ. I feel more confident with CJ as our coach than MT.

Tampa has all the motivation and has been playing well in spite of their injuries so yeah I agree I think we lose this one.

No Johnson or Stamkos, plus Kucherov is sick, not to mention Boyle and Filpulla traded. Tampa is a shell of their former self, even if they've been hot lately.

Why even watch if you expect them to lose? Just do something else.

Or you could try to convince me why those concerns are not legitimate, because it would make me feel better about Montreal's chances if you can do that.

Crosby
Malkin
Bonino

Backstrom
Kuznetsov
Eller

Danault
Plekanec
Shaw

Feel better?

I'm afraid of every team. That's what makes the playoffs so exciting.

lol I'm not watching...heading out to dinner soon.

They will lose because Tampa has been winning without ALL OF THOSE PLAYERS ALREADY

I wish MB got offensive help before the deadline. This could have been the year to go deep. As the 16th best offense I don't like our chances agaisnt Pitt or Wash. We're gonna regret this for years.

Completely agree. We're going to waste the best years of Price and Patches and Weber is going to slide downhill and before we know it our window will be shut (if it was ever truly open).

I mean of course "anything can happen" but the odds will never be for us like they are for teams like Pittsburgh, Chicago, etc.

Our centers are a joke. I know. However, winning with an average to sub par offense has happened. In the Kings championship seasons they were in the bottom third of the league in terms of goal scoring and the Devils, in 2005, were 16th I believe. The great equalizer is a solid defense and a goalie who can carry you there. The Habs have to play mistake free hockey in their own end to make a championship possible. It is possible, but remote.

Thats why I was so ready to trade for Duchene this year. Not sure why we cant go all in every year. It's always like "just make the playoffs, and lets just fix whatever in the offseason." I hate it.

By the time the "future" is ready for NHL, Price will be past his prime.
