Or you could try to convince me why those concerns are not legitimate, because it would make me feel better about Montreal's chances if you can do that.

The way I see it is Habs vs. Pens this year, we beat them 4-0 (we were by far the better team). Then they beat us 4-3 in OT (they tied it with less than a minute left in the game so we were that close to beating them again). And then they beat us 4-1 (which they were by far the better team). Pretty even between them in those 3 games.

As for Habs vs. Caps. Once again, we beat them 2-1 in the first meeting. And even though the score was low, we were all over them that game and we were solid defensively. We didn't give them much. Then they beat us 4-1 where they were by far the better team. And they beat us 3-2 in February and we hung in there with them.

And the biggest note is that during the 4 games we lost between them, it was during Price's slump in end of December/January/February. That's not the Price we have now.

Another small thing that could tell a different story when we face them, under Julien, we have increased our high danger scoring chances for while simultaneously decreasing the ones against.

So a few things that don't make me afraid of them. That's not to say I think we will roll over them. I'm just not afraid.

I hope Toronto plays Ottawa in the playoffs. Both those teams don't know how to play defense and it would be entertaining. Unlike a MTL vs. NYR series which would be 1-0 and 2-1 games with a combined 30 shots. Although beating them will be entertaining in it's own right. I just like watching insane playoff series that don't include MTL so I don't have a heart attack.

Julien had a lengthy conversation with Pacioretty after practice a few days ago. He responded with 2 goals and 1 assist in the Dallas and Florida games. Pacioretty said that conversation helped him. After practice today, Julien had that kind of conversation with Galchenyuk. So here's hoping it has the same effect. Galchenyuk did say he really appreciates the line of communication Julien has created.

Our centers are a joke. I know. However, winning with an average to sub par offense has happened. In the Kings championship seasons they were in the bottom third of the league in terms of goal scoring and the Devils, in 2005, were 16th I believe. The great equalizer is a solid defense and a goalie who can carry you there. The Habs have to play mistake free hockey in their own end to make a championship possible. It is possible, but remote.

It's possible to win with a mediocre offense but our forwards have historically been soft and worthless in the playoffs.

Jesus Christ lady, it's the anthem. You don't have to put your "stamp" on it.

You'd think she was auditioning to win a recording contract and a million dollars. One of my biggest pet peeves: anthem singers who sing it like they have Simon Cowel in the audience.
