Same here, I remember the first time I watched Scrivens and thought "Boy this guy won't be in the NHL too long, he looks too awkward in net!" and now here we are.

Damn, that year was rough. We had a line of Palushaj-Dumont-Staubitz at one point. We can ***** all we want about too many grinders at times, but every forward that has played a game this year is better than any of those three guys.

Heard DSP say today he was pissed off being benched for the Winter Classic and said he needs to come out pissed off for this game. Hopefully it happens and we see him crush a few Flyers.

I would trade DSP for a bottle of Gatorade and a roll of tape. The tape has a better chance of sticking with the habs. Not a fan and I hate the tooth gap, fix it dude you are a millionaire.

I get the impression Daniel Carr won't be sent down anytime soon. He has the sandpaper and desire needed

Every team needs a guy like that on a two way deal and call him up for certain games in the schedule.

Nah... honestly, the league has mostly outgrown that role just like the Habs have outgrown mid-level 4th-line talent. Whitey was a good 4th-liner back then; he's nowhere close to what we have now.

DA Record in pHilly is not too favorable for our Habs.

Let's hope that Scrivens stands on his head and the boys net a few :D

Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a smaller forward group that gets handled against certain teams and guys like White and Prust have value in those games and right now we do not have it.

Both who are barely 6' not to mention Prusts' stats are a bit exaggerated.
He's a tough cookie yes but by no means a big guy.
Being a guy who's trained for years, and meeting him face to face I'd say he's MAYBE 6', 185-190 lbs
I'd much rather take speed and skill over him tbh

We have two teams back to back who have a history of "handling us"
This game tonight is very very important for both squads.
They absolutely need to win their games in hand to climb back into the bubble.
We need to start stringing some W's together so Florida don't jump too far ahead of us.

Even though Flynn has been pretty good this season I'd still much rather have White or Prust instead.

Same.

Also, after the New Jersey game tomorrow, do we seriously have a week off again? I feel like we've had a lot of breaks, and another Saturday off is weird.
