Yup. Subban never had clear shooting lanes last season. The PP was a lot more predictable since it catered to Subban completely.
The simple fact now that Markov is squared in the middle of the blueline with a shooting option on both half boards gave Weber 4 or 5 clean shots on net.
Keep that up and the PP will produce in due time. May be predictable, but it doesn't make it easy to defend.
The thing is that Weber also has a pretty decent pass and with Markov near the blue line, it could also go around to Radulov that also has good scoring potential.
