Weise's penalties were a result of grit and heart, Eller's are a result of selfish doodoo head dumbo plays, so that explains why one earns a promotion and the other earns a demotion.

He'd have to actually play centre. We could have 2-3 of them, but we'll never know.
Galchenyuk looks more like Maxim Afinogenov than Tavares.

Most overrated player I've seen in ages. Potential up the ass, inconsistent as hell.
Really miss RDS/TSN. Too many cool stories from these Sportsnet bros.

Also, love the compete from Tavares. You see how upset he was on that last play? That is intensity I have not seen from the abs in a long, long time.
Abs are made in the kitchen. Put the cookie down (no matter how much wit is sprinkled on it).

Montreal's first line broken down:

Legit top line 200 foot goal scorer.
3rd line winger playing centre.
4th line grinder who thinks he's a star cause he scored a bunch in Holland.
I guess that means Therrien is even better then our record. Wow.

Therrien like his.... don't you know that by now... it's not what you do as a player on this team, it's if the coach likes you.:help:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you David "ECHL" Deharnais.
Good thing we don't have this Deharnais character.

Galchenyuk is a skilled 21 year old on pace for 50 points... potential up the ass?

Gilbert needs to sit down for a while. Terrible. 2 righties on the same pair is really stupid tho.

So many PMD's yet our transition sucks.

Seriously? So your typical hardworking 4th liner who takes grit and heart penalties should have a spot on the top 6 while others more talented shouldn't because of the type of penalties they take?

He's snake bit and has lost all his confidence. He's not the player right now that he was earlier in the year or ever really. There's something going on with him, and is continuously thrown out in the exact same situation game after game. He's expected to adjust to the coaches, which is fair enough but sometimes the coaches need to adjust to a player. Especially someone who is so important to the franchise.

I too am disappointed, but I think the coach involved has to be taken into account.

Great chances by the Isles, we are chasing the puck again tonight.

That's what happens when you think your team is a grinding team and you don't have anyone in your top 6 who can grind and win a board battle to get the puck after a dump in. Shoot the puck in and the other team wins the puck battle and your retreating playing defense.

This team is a mess right now. Wake me up when the PO start.

PO are a win/win situation. Lose early and (maybe) Therrien gets the boot. Go deep and we enjoy the ride.

I am scared.... lose tonight.... play in Tampa Monday.

Should we all have a cigar and a blindfold...... dear lord this could get a whole LOT uglier by mid-week.

Of course, but for such a highly rated player he's not helping himself whatsoever. Our top two centres are DD and Pleks for heck's sake, Galchenyuk can't break through? Pfft.

For the love of Price, put galchenyuk with Eller and pleks with pacioretty.

The muppet behind the bench brings nothing to this organization

Any other play not names Weise, DLR, DD or Bouillon would have been stapled to the bench for getting two boarding penalties in one period, let alone a freaking promotion.

What a joke.

He's probably one of the people who would have traded him Galchenyuk++ for Johansen, before the season started. So this is consistent with his narrative.
