...no, he wasn't...Barberio gae the puck away...Barberio was the guy that left his area and plowed his own player out of the front of the net...Petry then had to cover both areas and was screwed...

Petry goes back to retrieve a bouncing puck which was cleared by the Blue Jackets, instead of turning to his left with momentum, he decides to give Barberio a short pass which he wasn't expecting as he had 2 forecheckers bearing down on him

Barberio obviously makes a bad play, he wasn't expecting the pass....the rest is history

You have to look at what LEAD to the goal....
