If hartnell becomes available would we have any interest? Yes he just let emelin break up a 2-1.
Yes he's old, yes he falls down a lot but he would be top 6 for us, no?

Id say Hartnell is available to any team stupid enough to take on his remaining contract. I hope MB doesn't want any part of that contract and I'm sure he doesn't.

...maybe you're watching the wrong replay...: dunno:

...Petry did what he was supposed to do, Barberio screwed up...twice on the same play...no excuse...

Go back and look at the play, specifically when Petry retrieves the puck with 5:28 left in the period

He has open ice to his left...the right play was to skate to his left or just bank it off the boards to his left

Not make a short pass to a player who wasn't expecting it....

Sure, Barberio coughed it up....but he was put in a bad position by a bad decision by Petry

Again, I see the game as it is....it's not a popularity contest

Chantal in red and blue!

What a weird coincidence - I was just reading an article on Ars Technica, and saw a pic of a Brit newscaster in the same dress - seems to be anyway - I'm no fasionista... ;)

Well, if it matters, the half TV announcers just put the blame on Petry for making a pass instead of wheeling and moving away.

Yes, because that was the play Petry SHOULD have made

But here on HF

Petry is cool

barberio is not....

So....

MB just watches while our brilliant coach is demolishing Galchenyuk before our very eyes. It's sickening.

...yup; makes no sense whatsoever and is going to hurt in the long run...it's like a bad love triangle; Marc loves Michel, Michel loves Davey, Davey loves Davey...:shakehead

Markov isn't the general anymore. Hard to watch him out there now. Crazy how much his play has slipped this year especially after his great start. It's like he just doesn't give a **** out there anymore.

...again, one guy said it was on Petry, the other said it was on Barberio...I agree with the other guy...and there was no reason for Barberio to leave his spot and plow over his own guy in the process...

He's officially stepped into Gonchar territory this year, unfortunately for the team. Still has all-world vision and IQ, but he doesn't have the footspeed to allow himself the space to make plays.

Its what 3 years at 4.7 ish? Not great ( marginally good) but who else can help out top 6 that doesnt break the bank? If they want to move him and are willing to retain salary is this the worlds worst choice?

Markov is nowhere near that bad - Therrien just has no concept of managing his time properly

If you didn't watch this game, and just read this thread

You would think that every Galchenyuk shift, he's going end to end, through every defender, then setting up DD for a tape to tape pass on the goalmouth with DD fanning on the attempt

Sure, I'm not a fan of AG with DD, especially NOT with AG at center

But he's not exactly doing much himself

Habs have been the worst team for almost three months now and it's not even close. I really don't know how it could suddenly change. They may probably start thinking about tanking this year. And at this point I hope Galchenyuk gets the chance to play somewhere else like Tinordi. It's disgusting how they use him.

Markov and Plekanec for 1sts please, I'm certain teams will go for it. At the draft pick Laine and package those 1sts to pick one of those top Dmen.
