That's crazy what Ottawa was ready to pay to change Turris by Duchene.
Yeah I don't really understand... but whatever.. hope they know what they're doing !
Actually I don't.. I hope they suck !
I don't see a number one there. Johansen is a 60 point center. Good but not great.Johansen, Turris and Bonino is a pretty good trio.
Turris never became the player I thought he would. I've seen a few posts touting the Preds depth up the middle but I don't see a great player there. That D is sick though.
It's good depth. And with that D it might be enough. But they don't have great wingers either...If they didn’t have Johansen to play on the top line, then maybe. But Turris playing second line sandwiched by Johansen and Bonino is very good.
I found it REALLY dumb to not protect Neal. It's good depth. And with that D it might be enough. But they don't have great wingers either...

Exactly, that 3rd is not worth much but 1st + Bowers?(Who could end up a very good 2C maybe even 1B) And all that without guarantee Duchene will want to stay after the 2 years remaining on his contract.
But they have a great group.I don't see a number one there. Johansen is a 60 point center. Good but not great.

Alzner...
Line Graine not impressed by Chicago
I would have left Jarnkrok unprotected instead of Neal. They had to protect their defence which was so good last year so they lost the forward slots. They didn’t have much of a choice imo.

Lindgren didn't bite on the wrap around. Add the quality scoring chances from open men in the slot and score could easily 4-0
Honestly, you can even call Turris a #1C.I can't tell if you're being serious? Johansen isn't a real number one C according to you?
