Probably not but it's bad asset management. You trade a former first round pick for a 3rd round pick and protect a 3rd pairing d-man. Just doesn't make sense to me. Just another wasted first round pick in a long list of them.

Oh it is absolutely bad asset management. I knew Beaulieu was bad for a very long time, and Bergevin should have gotten a Mueller type return for him in the past.

I like the slashing penalties. It's so stupid watching people injure good players because they can't stop them so they try to break their hands and fingers.
