Still trying to figure out why MT tried to screw up Pateryn. He is one of those players who has no wiggle room for making a mistake.

He looks good.

I feel as though I could count on two hands how many times Radulov has fallen on the ice this year. So steady.

Amazing what adjustments a real NHL coach can make. Anaheim looks completely different. Started using their size...

Question: If a player passes the puck and it hits a skate and then deflects towards the net forcing the goalie to make a save, does it count as a shot?

Yes it does.

Any puck that is directed somehow towards the net that can go in, is a save.

NHL is stupid like that.

Because Radulov stays up like a man instead of falling down like the **** that Kreider is there's no 2 minutes.

Moral of the story next time Radulov should fall down purposely and injury the goalie and gets the 2 min advantage.

The stick in the skate by the dman was the exact same move Emelin did on kreider.

Of all the short players, the hockey gods didn't give us MSL or Johnny Gaudreau or even Tyler Johnson. No, we had to get David ****ing Desharnais.

Sure. Carlyle went back to the dressing room after the first and asked his players to "start using their size". And they did.

What a coach.

So the opposite of DD?

Yeah, the smaller guy's are easier to shut down, look at Gaudreau this year so far.

However there is no focus on Desharnais like there is on Gaudreau from the opposing defensive system. Which tells you the problem is definitely.. Desharnais alone.
