So this dumpsterfire doesn't deserve criticism? Check my old posts. I was hopeful for Burningbin once upon a time. I couldn't write a story line with a failure as epic as arrogant narcissistic Marc Bergevin. But life is stranger than fiction.2 minutes for game misconduct. what do you bring constant criticism for management.
No. Learn statistics. The effect of luck is increased when a sample goes down - and 8 games is incredibly small as a sample. After 8 games, its maybe more than just puck luck
Surely the Habs are twice as worse at scoring as the worst team in league history. Yeah, no. They are not. Learn to think with reason and not emotions.Or it's like we just don't have the talent to bury the puck for as many chances as we get.
So Byron is our new sniper
Compared to what we're witnessing, even the most negative of us were blindly optimistic. Two weeks ago, most of us saw the flaws, but still thought we'd probably make the playoffs. Now, even that tepid level of enthusiasm seems naive. I'm not talking about the big concepts of team-building -- all of us want to build a contender -- I'm talking about the smaller pleasures: I just want to watch a game and believe we could frikkin win. That fun, for me, is gone at the moment. I'd much rather have blind optimism.
If we manage to come from behind and win this...
