2 minutes for game misconduct. what do you bring constant criticism for management.
So this dumpsterfire doesn't deserve criticism? Check my old posts. I was hopeful for Burningbin once upon a time. I couldn't write a story line with a failure as epic as arrogant narcissistic Marc Bergevin. But life is stranger than fiction.

Still only a one goal differential thanks to this Gallagher goal.

A lesson for the rest...

the two Habs who scored tonight consistently go to the net.

After 8 games, its maybe more than just puck luck
No. Learn statistics. The effect of luck is increased when a sample goes down - and 8 games is incredibly small as a sample.
Or it's like we just don't have the talent to bury the puck for as many chances as we get.
Surely the Habs are twice as worse at scoring as the worst team in league history. Yeah, no. They are not. Learn to think with reason and not emotions.

So Byron is our new sniper

Lots of Habs are playing very well, Byron is only one, Gallagher earned that his play this season has been outstanding as has Plekanec, Lehkonen, Shaw + many others, IMHO!!!... Those players make the Habs worthy opponents, their hard work ethic is what makes Championship teams.

Compared to what we're witnessing, even the most negative of us were blindly optimistic. Two weeks ago, most of us saw the flaws, but still thought we'd probably make the playoffs. Now, even that tepid level of enthusiasm seems naive. I'm not talking about the big concepts of team-building -- all of us want to build a contender -- I'm talking about the smaller pleasures: I just want to watch a game and believe we could frikkin win. That fun, for me, is gone at the moment. I'd much rather have blind optimism.

Well in that case, I fully understand what you are saying. I have never been able to find simple pleasures in watching the Habs. Either they are building towards being a cup contender, or they are not. Marc Bergevin has killed all the pleasure I have for the Habs. However the flame continues to burn, I have blind optimism that one day it will be better.
